Fire Alarm Systems
Protect your premises, staff, and assets with professional fire detection systems installed and maintained to BS 5839 standards.
Early Detection Saves Lives
A reliable fire alarm system is the most important life-safety installation in any commercial or public building. When fire breaks out, early detection is the critical factor in ensuring safe evacuation and minimizing property damage.
Grays Electrical designs, installs, and maintains commercial fire alarm systems in strict accordance with BS 5839. From simple conventional systems for small retail units to complex addressable systems for care homes and large office blocks, we provide solutions tailored to your specific fire risk assessment.
Conventional Systems
Ideal for smaller premises. The building is divided into 'zones'. If a detector triggers, the control panel identifies which zone the fire is in, narrowing down the location.
Addressable Systems
Required for larger or more complex buildings (like care homes). Every detector has a unique address, allowing the panel to pinpoint the exact location of a fire instantly.
Maintenance & Servicing
A fire alarm is useless if it fails when needed. Commercial fire alarm systems must be maintained under a scheduled servicing contract to remain compliant with the law and valid for insurance purposes.
